Off To The Races!

Hello Thrillseekers!

We are making great progress with Memphis vs Zombies and are still set to launch for spooky season on October 1st! Thrill Comics is also set for a mid-campaign appearance at Memphis Comic Expo (10/26-27) and at Memphis Monster Con (11/9-10) just after the Kickstarter Campaign ends.

If you want to see how the zombies get made, here's a little page progression from the pre-race stretch to the finish line.

Every page starts with a script and Guilherme and Ryan bring it to life! This particular one called for a lot of Elvis impersonating runners. Each step in the process adds depth and vibrancy to Memphis vs Zombies!

  • It all starts with developing a solid script with clear dialogue and plot points.

  • Next, Guilherme creates thumbnails to map out the composition and flow of the issue. This helps in visualizing how each page will look and ensures a coherent storyline.

  • Once we've got the thumbnails, Guilherme creates detailed pencil drawings, and inks them for clarity.

  • Finally, Ryan adds colors and shading, and finalizes with lettering.
